SureMDM Agent Settings Job (Windows)
The SureMDM Agent Settings job allows administrators to efficiently configure SureMDM Agent settings on the enrolled devices. This job allows administrators to tailor the behavior and functionality of the SureMDM Agent to align with the organization's requirements.
To remotely configure SureMDM Agent Settings on the enrolled device(s),
Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Jobs > New Job > Windows > SureMDM Agent Settings.
Configure the required settings and click OK.
Settings | Description |

Job Name | Enter a name for the job |
Enable Device Info Update | Select the period of time to get the device information update. |
Require Password for Modifications and Agent Uninstallation | Password: Give a password to access SureMDM Agent settings. Protection Type: Protect View, Edits and Uninstall or Protect Edit and Uninstall. |
Display BitLocker Recovery Key | Select this option to display the BitLocker recovery key within the SureMDM agent. |
Enable Mailbox | When enabled, the Mailbox will be visible and accessible to users within the SureMDM agent. Mailbox feature is used to deliver Text Message job notifications, compliance notifications and other agent-based notifications. |
Enable File Store | When enabled, the File Store will be visible and accessible to Standard users within the SureMDM agent. Previously available to users with administrator privileges via Desktop shortcut. |
Enable User Info | When enabled, the user info section will be visible and accessible to Standard users within the SureMDM agent. However, this is not supported if the enrollment type is set to "No Authentication" and the "Prompt for User Name and Email ID on Device" option is disabled. |
Enable Settings | When enabled, the Settings section will be visible and accessible to Standard users within the SureMDM agent based on the Protection level set. |
Unattended Remote Support | Set the permissions for unattended remote support sessions. Choose Allow (With Notification), Deny, Prompt or Allow Silently (No Notification). |
Auto-hide Remote Notification after 05 sec | Enable this option to automatically hide remote support notifications after 5 seconds. |
Enable Troubleshoot | When enabled, the Troubleshoot section will be visible and accessible to Standard users within the SureMDM agent. |
Enable Import/Export Settings | When enabled, the Import/Export Settings section will be visible and accessible to Standard users within the SureMDM agent. |
Allow user to request Remote Support | Allows users to request remote support from the Troubleshoot tab in the SureMDM agent. Administrators will be notified and can accept or deny the request from the SureMDM console. |
Display Unenroll Option | When enabled, the Unenroll option will be visible in the Troubleshoot section of the SureMDM agent which allows standard users to unenroll the device. |
Hide SureMDM JIT Admin Access Admin section | When enabled, the JIT Access tab will be hidden to the users in the SureMDM Agent. |
Allow JIT Request Submission | When unchecked, end-users will not be able to submit Just-In Time requests from SureMDM Agent. |
Maximum JIT Requests Per Day by User | Specify the maximum number of JIT requests a user can submit per day. |
Contact IT | Enable this option to configure contact details for IT Support. Once set up, this information will be displayed to users directly within the agent. |
Customize Tile | Provide a title and body content for additional information that will appear in the Troubleshoot section of the SureMDM agent. This information can be tailored by the admin to be visible to users. |
This feature is supported on Windows devices with SureMDM Agent version >= 6.04.0
The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section.
Go back to the Home tab and select the Windows device(s) or group(s).
Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
Select the job under All Jobs/Profiles.
Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
