Alert Message (Windows)
The Alert Message job allows administrators to transmit emergency notifications to enrolled devices, incorporating personalized images or videos to enhance the message's impact.
This feature will support only the on SureMDM Agent versions higher than 4.64.
To send an emergency alert message with a customized image/video and deploy it to the enrolled device(s) or group(s), follow these steps:
On the SureMDM Web Console, navigate to Jobs > New Job > Windows > Alert Message.
Configure the required settings and click OK.

Job Name | Enter a job name. |
Select File Type | Select the required file type: - Image Alert Image - Browse and select an image. Scale Image - Select from the following image: - Normal - Fit to screen - Full Screen Preview - Use this option to see a preview of the created alert message. - Video Alert Video URL - Enter the URL of the alert video. |
Alert Type | Select an Alert Type: 1. Display Alert - Displays the alert message directly on the device. - Close Alert Popup - Closes the alert message after the specified time. - Duration - Enter the duration in seconds/minutes/hours. 2. Display Popup - Displays the alert message as a popup. - Title - Title name of the alert popup. - Message - Message for the alert popup. |
Allow Download | Select this option to Allow downloading the alert image option to end-user on SureMDM Agent. |
Allow Print | Select this option to Allow printing the alert image option to end-user on SureMDM Agent. |
Note: For Allow Print and Allow Download options, ensure devices are enrolled with SureMDM Agent version 5.08 or later.
The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section.
Go back to the Home tab and select the Windows device(s) or group(s).
Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
Select the job under All Jobs/Profiles.
Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
