Firewall Policy Job (Windows)
The Firewall Policy job allows administrators to remotely set up and deploy native Firewall policies on the enrolled devices. By using this job, administrators can create customized Firewall policies that align with the organization's security requirements.
To create Firewall Policy job and deploy it to the enrolled device(s) or group(s) remotely, follow these steps:
Navigate to the SureMDM Web Console > Jobs > New Job > Windows > Firewall Policy.
Configure the following Firewall Policy settings and click Save.
Settings | Description |
---|---|
Job Name | Enter a name for the job. |
Enable | Allow configuring firewall policy. |
Domain List | Select the following options: Blocklist– Deny the specified domains on the device Allowlist – Allow the specified domains on the device |
Domain Names | Enter the domain name and click Add. *Note: Multiple domain names can be added.* |
The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List.
Go back to the Home tab and select the Windows device(s) or group(s).
Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
Select the job under All Jobs/Profiles.
Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
