Accessories
Accessories in SureAsset are items that support or enhance primary assets. They are typically assigned alongside assets and help ensure complete and effective usage of equipment. Accessories, include:
- Computer Accessories - Keyboards, mice, cables
- Monitor Accessories - Stands, cables, adapters
- Mobile Accessories - Chargers, cases, screen protectors
To add Accessories to SureAsset, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Accessories section in SureAsset.
- Click Create New.

- Configure the following Accessory Info details:
- Accessory Name - Enter the name of the accessory.
- Company - Select the company associated with the accessory.
- Category - Select the accessory category.
- Quantity - Enter the available quantity.
- Minimum Quantity - Enter the minimum quantity to trigger low-stock alerts.
- Serial - Enter the serial number, if applicable.
- Configure the following Order Info details:
- Location - Select the location where the accessory is stored or assigned.
- Model Number - Enter the model number of the accessory.
- Supplier - Select the supplier.
- Manufacturer - Select the manufacturer.
- Order Number - Enter the purchase order number.
- Purchase Date - Select the purchase date.
- Purchase Cost - Enter the purchase cost.
- Configure the following Optional Info details:
- Requestable - Enable to allow users to request this accessory.
- Notes - Enter additional information, if required.
- Image - Upload an image of the accessory.

Use the + icon next to a field to add a new entry. Enter the details and click Create.
- After entering the required details, click Create to add the Accessory.
- To assign the accessory, click Checkout and configure the details to check out the license to users.
