Login Items Configuration
The Login Items payload allows IT administrators to configure the managed Login Items settings for users of a Mac that are enrolled via device / user management. These settings help to specify the apps, files, folders and network mounts that are open when users log in.
- Supported OS Version: macOS 10.13 or later
- Supported Enrollment Types:
- Device Enrollment and Automated Device Enrollment
- User Enrollment
- Applicable for both Device and User channels
Steps to Configure Login Items Profile
On the SureMDM Web Console, navigate to Profiles > macOS > Add > Select Enrollment Type > User Experience & Personalization > Login Items Configuration > Configure.
Enter a Profile Name and configure below if required.

| Disable Login Items Suppression | If checked, the user would be restricted from disabling login item launches by using the Shift key. This option is applicable only for Device Enrollment. If User Enrollment is selected, then this option will not be displayed. |
Click Add.
In the Configure Login Items screen, configure the required options and click Add.
| Setting | Description |

| Item Name | Enter the name of the item to be added as a login item. |
| Login Item Type | Specify the required Login Item type: Application Info: Use this option to configure an application to startup when logged in. File / Folder Info: Use this option to configure a file / folder to startup when logged in. |
| Path | Enter the full pathname of the application / file / folder you want to add. Path example for app: /Applications/iMazing.appFile / Folder path example: /Users/mac/Downloads/Portfolio.docxApplicable only if either Applications or File/Folder is selected as Login Item Type. |
The added configuration will reflect in the table section.
Click Save.
The newly created profile will be listed in the Profiles section.
Go back to the Home tab and select the macOS device(s) or group(s).
Click Apply to launch Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the created profile and click Apply.
