Configure Branding Profile

This guide provides instructions on configuring the Branding settings for macOS devices using SureMDM. These settings allow administrators to customize the appearance of devices, including the Wallpaper, Lock Screen, Screensaver and Policy Banner message. This ensures that the organization’s branding is consistent across all managed devices.

Applicable only for Device Enrollments.

  1. On the SureMDM Web Console, navigate to:
    Profiles > macOS > Add > Device Enrollment > Branding > Configure

  2. Enter a Profile Name.

  3. In the Configure Branding screen, configure the required options under the available sections.

Desktop Wallpaper

SettingsDescriptions
Enable Desktop WallpaperToggle the option to Enable / Disable wallpaper configuration.
SelectUpload an Image or enter the Image URL to be displayed on the home screen wallpaper.

Screen Saver

SettingsDescriptions
Enable ScreenSaverToggle the option to Enable / Disable ScreenSaver configuration.
Path to ScreensaverSpecify the complete path of the Screensaver image location.
Start Screensaver After (in seconds)Specify the number of seconds of inactivity before the screensaver activates.

Lock Screen Message

SettingsDescriptions
Enable Lock Screen MessageToggle the option to Enable / Disable Lock Screen configuration.
Set Lock Screen MessageSpecify the custom lock screen message (up to 410 characters).

Policy Banner

SettingsDescriptions
Enable Policy BannerToggle the option to enable / disable the Policy Banner Configuration.
Set Policy Banner MessageThis message will be displayed at the login window, and users must acknowledge it before proceeding. The Policy Banner title is set to "Agreement" by default. This value is static and cannot be modified.

  1. Click Save.
    The newly created profile will be listed in the Profiles section.

  2. Go back to the Home tab and select the macOS device(s) or group(s).

  3. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

  4. In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the created profile and click Apply.
