Setup AirPrint Configuration
AirPrint profile enables administrators to create full-quality printed output without the need to download or install drivers. This profile allows admins to populate the list of available printers with AirPrint-enabled printers on Mac computers enrolled in SureMDM. This is applicable for both Device and User Profiles.
Supported for both Device and User Enrollments.
Steps to Configure AirPrint
To create a profile to configure AirPrint on the enrolled device(s), follow these steps:
On the SureMDM Web Console, navigate to:
Profiles > macOS > Add > Device / User Enrollment > AirPrint Configuration > Configure.Enter a Profile Name and click Add.
In the Add AirPrint Config prompt, configure the options below and click Add:

Settings | Description |
---|---|
IP Address | Enter the IP address or hostname of the AirPrint destination. |
Port Number | Enter the listening port of the AirPrint destination. |
Resource Path | Specify the resource path associated with the printer. |
Force TLS | If enabled, TLS will be used to encrypt the data when sent to the printer. |
- The added configuration will reflect in the table section.
- Click Save.
- The newly created profile will be listed in the Profiles section.
Go back to the Home tab and select the macOS device(s) or group(s).
Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the created profile and click Apply.
