Configure Certificates Profile

The Certificates Profiles allow administrators to efficiently upload corporate certificates and other essential certificates. These certificates play a crucial role in authenticating device access to the network, ensuring secure and seamless connectivity. Administrators can seamlessly manage and distribute certificates to enrolled devices from a centralized platform. 

To configure Certificate remotely on an enrolled device, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Profiles > iOS/iPadOS > Add > Certificate > Configure.

  2. In the Certificate prompt,

  • To fetch the existing SCEP certificate from the CA server, follow these steps:

      a. Deselect Create Certificate Using SCEP.

      b. Upload the Certificate file from a saved location.

      c. Enter the password and click Add.

  • To get a SCEP certificate from another CA server, follow these steps: 

     a. Select Create Certificate Using SCEP.

     b. Select Override Account-Wide SCEP Settings.

This will enable admins to create and configure another certificate using SCEP.  To configure SCEP in SureMDM, see the steps under Configure SCEP.

     c. Click Add. 

3. Click Save.

The newly created profile will be listed in the Profiles section.

  1. Go back to the Home tab and select the iOS/iPadOS device(s) or group(s).

  2. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

  3. Select the profile under All Jobs/Profiles.

  4. Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
