Restriction Policy Profile

The Restriction Profile allows administrators to restrict specific settings, functions, and media content on the enrolled devices. This profile grants administrators the ability to finely tune the device's capabilities according to their organizational requirements.For instance, if an administrator wants users to have open access to most device functionalities but wishes to disable the camera and the usage of storage cards, SureMDM allows the creation of a Restriction Profile. 

To configure Restriction Profile on the enrolled devices, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Profiles > Windows > Add > Restriction Profile > Configure.

  2. Enter a Profile Name.

  3. Configure the required restriction settings and click Save.

The newly created profile will be listed under the Profiles section.

  1. Go back to the Home tab and select the Windows device(s) or group(s).

  2. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

  3. Select the profile under All Jobs/Profiles.

  4. Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
