File Sharing Policy Profile
The File Sharing Policy provides a safe and reliable method for distributing business files across devices using the File Store feature. This profile empowers administrators to establish a document library, facilitating the secure sharing of various files including images, videos, and other documents across enrolled devices.
To share a file using File Sharing Policy and remotely deploy it to the device(s), follow these steps:
Navigate to the SureMDM Web Console > Profiles > Windows > Add > File Sharing Policy > Configure.
Enter a Profile Name.
Click Add to launch File Store prompt.
Select the desired files or folders and click Add.
The files or folders uploaded in File Store will be listed here. See the steps under Create and Deploy File Sharing Profile to add files or folders in File Store.
The selected files will be listed in the box located on the right side of the screen.
- Click Permission to give the following file permissions:
- Allow File Delete
- Allow File Upload
Click Done.
The selected files will be listed in the File Sharing Policy section.
7;. Click Save.
The newly created profile will be listed in the Profiles section.
Go back to the Home tab and select the Windows device(s) or group(s).
Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
Select the profile under All Jobs/Profiles.
Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
