Exchange ActiveSync Profile

When an email account is set up using Exchange Active Sync, users of the device gain the ability to conveniently schedule synchronization of their Emails, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes. This remote synchronization feature operates on enrolled devices, ensuring that users stay seamlessly connected and up-to-date with their essential information. 

To configure Exchange ActiveSync remotely on the enrolled device(s), follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the SureMDM Web Console > Profiles > Windows > Add > Exchange ActiveSync > Configure.

  2. Enter a Profile Name and click Add.   

  3. Configure Exchange ActiveSync settings and click Add > Save.

Account NameEnter the name of the account to display in the mail client.
Exchange Activesync HostEnter the public hostname or server name hosting Exchange ActiveSync.
Use SSLSelect to send all information through the Secure Socket Layer.
User NameEnter the end user’s user name.
Email AddressEnter the end user’s email address.
PasswordEnter the password for the email address.
Sync Schedule

Select the sync schedule from the options to sync the email account at a specified time period with the device:

- None

- Manual

- Every 15 minutes

- Every 30 minutes

- Every 60 minutes

Days To SyncSelect the number of days/weeks/months to sync the email account with the device.

The newly created profile will be listed in the Profiles section.

  1. Go back to the Home tab and select the Windows device(s) or group(s).

  2. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

  3. Select the profile under All Jobs/Profiles.

  4. Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
