Branding

This guide provides instructions on configuring the Branding settings for Windows devices using SureMDM. These settings allow administrators to customize the appearance of devices, including the wallpaper, lock screen, and screensaver. This ensures that the organization’s branding is consistent across all managed devices.

To create a branding profile and deploy it to the device(s), follow these steps:

  1. Login to your SureMDM console.
  2. Navigate to Profiles and create a new Windows profile or edit an existing one.
  3. Select Branding from the profile configuration options on the left panel.
  4. Configure the following settings and click Save:

Wallpaper
Upload Image: Select the Upload Image button to upload a file from your computer. Supported formats include .jpg, .jpeg, and .png.
Enter Image Path: If the image is already hosted, use this field to specify the path directly.
Use Wallpaper as LockScreen: Toggle this option to apply the selected wallpaper as the lock screen background.
Lock Screen
Upload Image: Click Upload Image to choose a lock screen image from your device. The image should be in .jpg, .jpeg, or .png format.
Enter Image Path: Alternatively, enter the path to an image already hosted.
Screensaver
Upload File: Use the Upload File button to upload the screensaver file. Supported format .scr.
Enter File Path: Specify the file path for an existing screensaver.
Start Screensaver After (In Seconds): Set the time in seconds after which the screensaver will start. The default value is 30 seconds.
Interactive Logon Notice
Set Interactive Logon Notice: Check this box to enable the logon notice feature.
Set Interactive Logon Title: Enter the title for the logon message.
Set Interactive Logon Message: Enter the custom message that users will see on the login screen.
Preview Message: Click this button to preview the logon message as it will appear on the device.

  • Device Reboot Required: Changing wallpaper and lock screen settings requires a reboot for changes to take effect.
  • OS Version Alignment: The appearance of the interactive logon title and message may vary based on the version of the Windows operating system.
  • Remove Branding

When deployed a profile to remove branding, all branding configurations previously applied via the SureMDM console will be permanently removed from the device. A reboot is required for these changes to take effect.

By following these steps, administrators can effectively manage the branding of their Windows devices to maintain consistency and adherence to company standards.
