Run Script Job
The Run Script job allows administrators to execute customized scripts on the enrolled devices. This job provides effective remote management and control of enrolled devices, enabling a wide range of customized actions to be performed.
Follow the below steps to create a Run Script Job:
On the SureMDM Web Console, navigate to Jobs > New Job > iOS/iPadOS > Run Script.
Enter a Job Name.
In the Script section, provide the necessary script.

In the Pre-defined Script section, choose the desired script and click Validate. Once the script is successfully validated, click Insert to add it to the Script section.
Script Name | Description |
---|---|
Send Analytics Data Immediately | Commands the device to send its web browsing history to the server immediately |
Send Data Usage Statistics Immediately | Commands the device to send its data usage statistics to the server immediately |
- Click Save.
The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section.
Go back to the Home tab and select the iOS/iPadOS device(s) or group(s).
Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
Select the job under All Jobs/Profiles.
Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
