Run Script Job

The Run Script job allows administrators to execute customized scripts on the enrolled devices. This job provides effective remote management and control of enrolled devices, enabling a wide range of customized actions to be performed. 

Follow the below steps to create a Run Script Job:

1. On the SureMDM Web Console, navigate to Jobs > New Job > iOS/iPadOS > Run Script.

2. Enter a Job Name.

3. In the Script section, provide the necessary script.

    or

    In the Pre-defined Script section, choose the desired script and click Validate. Once the script is successfully validated, click Insert to add it to the Script section.

Script Name	Description
Send Analytics Data  Immediately	Commands the device to send its web browsing history to the server immediately
Send Data Usage Statistics Immediately	Commands the device to send its data usage statistics to the server immediately

4. Click Save.

    The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section.

5. Go back to the Home tab and select the iOS/iPadOS device(s) or group(s).

6. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

7. Select the job under All Jobs/Profiles.

8. Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
