Remove Profile

The Remove Profile feature in SureMDM empowers administrators to effectively manage and uninstall profiles iOS/iPadOS devices. This feature allows admins to remove installed profiles and custom payloads across multiple devices.

To create Remove Profile Job and deploy it to the enrolled device(s) or group(s) remotely, follow these steps:

  1. On the SureMDM Web Console, navigate to Jobs > New Job > iOS/iPadOS > Remove Profile.

  2. Type Job Name and enter the following details as per the requirement:

  • Remove Currently Installed Profile: Enabling this will remove the existing profile on the deployed device(s).

  • Remove Custom Payload Profile:

    • You can choose from the list of custom profiles previously deployed using SureMDM.
    • If a custom profile is not listed, provide the Payload Identifier of the profile you want to remove.

Entering an incorrect identifier will not remove any profiles, even if the job is successfully deployed.

  1. After configuring the job, click Save.

    The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section.

  2. Go back to Home and select the iOS device(s) or group(s).

  3. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

  4. In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the job(s) and click Apply.
