Device Setings
Device Settings includes essential device settings such as Bluetooth, Personal Hotspot and Roaming.
Steps to Create a Device Settings Job
To create a Device Settings job and deploy it to the enrolled device(s) or group(s) remotely, follow these steps:
Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Jobs > New Job > iOS/iPad > Device Settings.
In the Device Settings prompt, enter a Job Name and select the requried Settings Type.
Action Types and Descriptions
| Settings Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Bluetooth | Use this option to enable / disable bluetooth on devices. |
| Personal Hotspot | Use this option to enable / disable personal hotspot on devices. Deploying Roaming Configuration to iOS / iPadOS device that has both physical and e-SIM, the configuration will apply only to the e-SIM. |
| Roaming | Use this option to enable / disable Voice and Data Roaming on devices. |

Device Settings is supported only on Supervised device(s) with iOS version 5.0 and above.
The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section.
Go back to the Home tab and select the iOS/iPad device(s) or group(s).
Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the job and click Apply.
