ProGlove Scanner Enrollment

42Gears has integrated ProGlove scanners with the SureMDM console to enable centralized device management and enhance operational efficiency. This integration allows administrators to remotely enroll, configure, and monitor ProGlove scanners from a single platform, ensuring better visibility and control over deployed devices. By reducing manual intervention and simplifying scanner management, organizations can maintain consistent device performance, optimize workflows, and ensure reliable scanning operations across industrial and warehouse environments.

Enroll ProGlove Scanner to SureMDM

To enroll the ProGlove Scanner in SureMDM Console, follow these steps:

Prerequisites

• Enable Things Gateway in the SureMDM Console.
• Configure No Authentication in the SureMDM Console.
• Install the ProGlove Insights Mobile application on an Android device. Refer to the link.

Steps:

1. Navigate to Enrollment > Manual Enrollment, expand the Things accordion, and select ProGlove Scanner from the left pane.
2. Enter the following ProGlove account details:

• ProGlove Customer ID – The unique identifier associated with your ProGlove account. To find your ProGlove Customer ID refer to the link.
• ProGlove Username – The username associated with your ProGlove account.
• ProGlove Password – The password associated with the configured ProGlove account.

3. Click Save to validate and save the ProGlove configuration.

4. Upon successful validation, a QR code is generated in the SureMDM console.

   note

   The QR code is automatically regenerated every 5 minutes or whenever the ProGlove configuration is updated.

5. Open the ProGlove Insights Mobile application installed on the Android device.

6. Scan the QR code generated in the SureMDM console (step 4) using the ProGlove Insights Mobile application.

• The Android device is registered as the gateway device for the configured ProGlove account.

7. Upon successful registration, an enrollment QR code is generated within the ProGlove Insights Mobile application.
8. Use the ProGlove scanner to scan the enrollment QR code (step 7)
9. Wait for the pairing process to complete.

• Once the pairing is complete, the ProGlove scanner is enrolled and available in the SureMDM console.
