Zebra Link-OS Printer Enrollment (via Printer Enrollment Tool)

42Gears has collaborated with Zebra Technologies to make Things management simpler and more efficient. SureMDM allows you to remotely manage and configure Zebra Link-OS printers, saving time, energy, and other resources.

Enroll Zebra Link-OS Printer to SureMDM using the Printer Enrollment Tool

To enroll the Zebra Printer to SureMDM Console using the Printer Enrollment tool, follow these steps:

Prerequisite​

• Enable Things Gateway in the SureMDM Console.
• Configure No Authentication in the SureMDM Console.

Steps:

1. Navigate to Enrollment > Manual Enrollment, then expand the Things accordion, and select the Zebra Printer.

2. Choose the IP Address Type as either Dynamic or Static.

3. Enter one or more printer IP addresses or specify a range.

4. Click on the Launch Enrollment Tool button, confirm when prompted and proceed to the Download page.

5. On the Download page, Click Download to get the Zebra Printer Enrollment Tool, then install it on your host machine.

6. Once installed, Click on Launch Enrollment Tool button again to open the Printer Enrollment Tool.

• The tool establishes communication between the printer and the SureMDM Console, initiates a connection request, updates the enrollment information, and completes the device enrollment process.
