Device Grid
Use the Device Grid View in SureMDM to see a full listing of enrolled devices. Device Grid provides a list view of devices with details such as platform, status, job status, battery details, and other information. You can customize the Device Grid columns using any of the following methods:
Grid Columns - You can add predefined grid columns available in the SureMDM console.
Custom Columns - You can create custom columns and add them to the device grid. For more information, see Create Custom Columns
Installed Application Version - You can add a column that contains versions of the specific application installed on the device.
Custom Properties - You can add the column that contains custom properties assigned to the devices.
Create Custom Columns
Custom Columns can be created in the device grid, and values can be added to them. You can create custom columns for which SureMDM cannot retrieve values from the device. For example, if you want to add the employee ID for all the devices in the SureMDM console, you can add custom columns and assign values to them. You can also add custom columns for the hardware attached to the device, such as scanners, and printers.
To create custom columns, follow these steps:
Navigate to SureMDM Home and click Column View.
Select Custom Column and click +.
In the Custom Column prompt, click Add.
In the Add Custom Column prompt, enter New Column Name.
If your values will be unique, select the Unique Values checkbox.
Click Save to add the custom column.
To assign the value for the custom column, follow these steps:
Select the device from Device Grid.
Navigate to the Device Information Panel and click the Edit button next to the custom column.
Enter the value and click Ok.
