SureMDM Agent Settings (Android)

IT admins can remotely configure or update SureMDM Agent settings on the enrolled devices. 

To remotely configure SureMDM Agent settings and deploy it to the enrolled device(s) or group(s), 

1. On the SureMDM Web Console, navigate to Jobs > New Job > Android > SureMDM Agent Settings.    

2. On the SureMDM Agent Settings prompt, enter a Job name, select the applicable options, and click OK.

Enable time synchronization with the serverSelect the Periodicity from the drop-down menu to synchronize with the server at a specified time.
Note: This feature will be available only on Samsung Knox devices. 
Enable device info updateSelect the Periodicity from the drop-down menu to update device information at a specified time.
SureMDM Agent PasswordEnter the password to configure SureMDM Agent settings.
Enable Schedule RebootSchedule a device reboot at a specified time on selected days.
Note: This feature will be available only on Samsung Knox/Platform Signed devices.
Enable Schedule Power OffSchedule for device powe off at a specified time on selected days. Note: This feature will be available only on Samsung Knox/Platform Signed devices.
Enable Schedule Power OnSchedule for device power on at a specified time on all days. Note: This feature will be available only on OEM-enabled Lenovo devices with SureMDM Agent v27.38.00 and above
Connection TypeSelect the Connection Type (Any/ Wi-Fi Only/ Mobile Data) from the drop-down menu to connect to the internet.
Prevent Deregistration & Uninstallation From SureMDM AgentRestrict the user from deregistering or uninstalling the SureMDM Agent through the SureMDM Agent settings. Supported from SureMDM Agent v27.32.00 onwards
Auto Dismissal TimeoutDefine the timeout duration for the 'Auto Dismissal' pop-up that appears on the device during remote control access, location tracking, and call and SMS data collection. Min. value = 10 seconds. Max. value = 180 seconds. Supported from SureMDM Agent v27.32.00 onwards
Enable Delete Older Log FilesToggle to enable or disable the automatic deletion of older log files from the device's storage.
Delete Files Older ThanSpecify the number of days after which log files should be automatically deleted.

      The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section. 

3. Go back to the Home tab and select the Android device(s) or group(s).

4. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

5. In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the job and click Apply.
