Remote Data Wipe (Android)
Admins will have the option to remotely wipe all the data on the enrolled device(s). This capability serves as a security measure to protect sensitive information and maintain data privacy in situations where a device is lost, stolen, or compromised.
To create a job to wipe data and deploy it to the enrolled device(s) or group(s) remotely, follow these steps:
1. On the SureMDM Web Console, navigate to Jobs > New Job > Android > Remote Data Wipe.
2. Configure the Remote Data Wipe and click Save.
Settings | Description |

Job Name | Enter a name for the Job |
Select Option | Choose from the following options: - Wipe Internal Storage: Wipes the device's internal storage. - Wipe Internal and External Storage: Wipes both internal and external storage. - Wipe Data If Device is Offline: Wipes data when the device goes offline for the specified interval. Note: This option will erase all data on the device including photos, notes, and other work-managed data. Please review carefully before proceeding. |
Device Offline Grace Period | Specify the grace period (in time) after which the device will be wiped if it remains offline beyond the defined interval. |
The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section.
5. Go back to the Home tab and select the Android device(s) or group(s).
6. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
7. In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the Job and click Apply.
