Device Information Panel

You can view detailed information about the device on the Device Information panel by selecting a device from the Device Grid. The Device Information Panel is located on the right side of the SureMDM console home screen. It displays more information on the Device, Network, Battery and Memory status of the selected device.

Device Info

The following details can be found in the device info panel:

  • Display Model - Displays the model of the enrolled device.

  • Operating System - Displays the operating system running on the device.

  • Device Name - Displays the enrolled device name.

  • Bluetooth Name - Displays the device's Bluetooth name.

  • Agent Version - Displays the SureMDM Agent version running on the device.

  • Last Device Name - Displays the previous device name on the console.

Admins can add notes about the device using this option.

  • Location Tracking - Indicates whether location tracking is enabled or disabled.

  • Telecom Management - Admins can add the telecom management policy for the device.

  • Android Enterprise - Indicates whether the device is enrolled in Android Enterprise.

  • Geo-Fence - Admins can create a virtual fence around a geographical location for the devices to behave or function in a specified way.

  • Time Fence - Admins can create periodical boundary for the devices to behave or function in a specified way.

  • Network Fence - Admins can create a network boundary for the devices to behave or function in a specified way.

  • Overall Compliance - Displays the overall compliance status of the device based on the applied compliance policies.

  • SureLock Permissions - Displays the status of all the SureLock permissions.

  • SureMDM Agent Permissions - Displays the status of all the SureMDM Agent permissions.

  • User Privacy Status - Displays the status of the remote support, location tracking, call log tracking, and SMS log tracking.

  • Installed Profiles - Displays the number of installed profiles and allows you to view or remove them.

  • Installer Package - Displays the package ID of installer that have permission to install applications.

  1. SureMDM Agent Permissions, SureLock Permissions, User Privacy Status, Installed Profiles and Installer Package will be available only for Android devices.
  2. Administrators have the ability to modify the majority of the options by selecting the Edit option located next to each one.

Network

The following details can be found in the device info panel:

  • MAC Address - Displays the mac address of the device.

  • IP Address - Displays the IP address of the device.

  • DNS1 - Displays the primary DNS address of the device.

  • DNS2 - Displays the secondary DNS address of the device.

  • Local IP Address - Displays the local IP address of the device.

  • Connection - Displays the device connection status.

  • IMEI - Displays the IMEI number of the device.

  • Serial Number - Displays the serial number of the device.

  • Wi-Fi Signal Strength - Displays the Wi-Fi signal strength of the device.

  • Wi-Fi SSID - Displays the Wi-Fi SSID of the connected network.

  • Security - Displays the security type of the connected Wi-Fi network.

SIM1/SIM2

  • Phone Number - Displays the phone number of the primary or secondary SIM.

  • Cell Signal Strength - Displays the cellular signal strength of the primary or secondary network.

  • Mobile Network - Displays the mobile network name of the primary or secondary SIM.

  • IMSI - Displays the IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) of the primary or secondary SIM.

  • SIM Serial Number - Displays the SIM serial number of the primary or secondary SIM.

Battery

The following details can be found in the device info panel:

  • Battery Type - Displays the battery type of the device. Ex : Li-ion.

  • Battery Charge status - Displays the battery charging status.

  • Battery percentage - Displays the battery percentage of the device. Ex : 90%

  • Battery Health: The Battery Health field indicates the overall condition of the device’s battery as reported by the Android operating system. This value helps IT admins assess whether the device battery is functioning normally or may require attention.

    • Good - Battery is in good condition and performing normally.
    • Overheat - Battery temperature is too high, which may impact performance or safety.
    • Dead - Battery is no longer functional and likely needs to be replaced.
    • Over Voltage - Battery is experiencing voltage beyond safe limits. Can indicate charging issues.
    • Unspecified Failure - Battery has failed due to an unknown internal issue.
    • Cold - Battery temperature is too low. May temporarily affect performance.
    • Unknown - Battery health couldn’t be determined. This may happen on some older devices.

  • These values are directly fetched from the Android system.
  • Devices with non-removable or unsupported batteries may always return Unknown.
  • Battery Temperature: Displays the current temperature of the battery in °C.

  • Battery Serial Number: Displays the unique identifier assigned to the device's battery if specified by the manufacturer.

Memory Management

The following details can be found in the device info panel:

  • Internal Storage - Displays the available storage memory from the total storage memory.

  • Program Memory - Displays the available storage memory from the total program memory.

  • CPU Usage - Displays the CPU usage of the device.

The settings with the Edit option can be turned ON/OFF from Device Informational Panel itself for the selected device.
