Uninstall App (Linux)
The Uninstall App job allows administrators to remotely uninstall applications from enrolled devices. This job allows you to manage the applications by providing a centralized method to remove unwanted or unnecessary apps. By using the Uninstall App job, administrators gain enhanced control over the software environment on enrolled devices.
To create an Uninstall App job and push it to the device(s) or group remotely, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Jobs > New Job > Linux > Uninstall App.
2. In the Uninstall App prompt, enter the following details and click OK.
a. Enter a Job Name.
b. Select the Application Name(s) from the list.
c. Click Add to move Application Names to the right-side box.
d. Click Remove to remove the Application Names from the right-side box.
e. Select the desired Job Type.
The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section.
3. Go back to the Home tab and select Linux device(s) or group(s).
4. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
5. In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the job and click Apply.
