Text Message

The Text Message job enables administrators to send text or broadcast messages to enrolled Linux devices remotely. This feature facilitates quick communication and information dissemination.

To create a job to compose a message and deploy it to the enrolled device(s) or group(s) remotely, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the SureMDM Web Console > Jobs > New Job > Linux > Text Message.  

2. Configure the Text Message settings and click OK.

SubjectEnter the subject for the message
Alert TypeThe Alert Type option let you choose how the message is displayed: "Display Alert" keeps the message in the notification center until cleared, while "Display Popup" shows it as a pop-up notification.

The Display Alert option requires devices to be enrolled with SureMDM Agent version 7.12.0 or later.

      The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section.

3. Go back to the Home tab and select the Linux device(s) or group(s).

4. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

5. In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the job and click Apply.
