SureLock Analytics
SureLock Analytics can help administrators pull detailed reports through the SureMDM Web Console. To get started, the following two steps have to be performed:
- Enable SureLock Analytics on the Device
- Generate SureLock Analytics Reports
Enable SureLock Analytics on the Device
To enable analytics in SureLock, install SureLock, launch it and follow these steps:
Tap on SureLock Home Screen, 5 times within 3 seconds to launch the password prompt.
Enter the password and tap OK.
On SureLock Admin Settings screen, go to SureLock Settings > Peripheral Settings > SureLock Analytics
Enable SureLock Analytics and tap Done.
To get SureLock Analytics report through email at a scheduled time, see Schedule Export to Mail in SureLock Analytics.
Generate SureLock Analytics Report
SureMDM allows admins to generate custom reports for allowed websites and content filtering in SureLock. This SureLock Analytics report can be generated for single or multiple devices for specific dates using the SureMDM Web Console.
This option is available only for Super users, not sub-users.
SureLock Analytics Report lists all the activities in the SureLock browser with details of the device, URL open and close time with total browse time on the allowed websites.
To generate SureLock Analytics report in SureMDM, follow these steps:
Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Settings > Account Settings > Data Analytics.
Enable Enable Data Analytics > Enable SureLock/App Usage Analytics and click Show for Secret Key.
- SureLock Analytics: Supported only for Android and Linux platforms. For Linux platform, use SureMDM Agent version > 3.5.1.
- App Usage Analytics: Supported on macOS platform and SureMDM Agent 5.2.0 onwards.
Note down the secret key and click Apply.
The settings will get updated.
Go to Reports > and select Custom Reports and select SureLock Analytics from Tables List.
5. To view the steps to create a custom report, click Create a Custom Report .
- To remotely enable SureLock Analytics on an enrolled device, push the following script to the device using Run Script job:

- Secret Key is the key copied in step no. 2.
