Logging In to the Console

Before you can log in to the SureMDM console, administrators have to configure some initial console settings, such as determining the environment URL and login credentials, customizing the console, setting the enrolment rules, and more.

The following are the basic console settings that must be configured by the admin before starting to manage the devices:

  • Account Signup
  • Console Branding
  • Device Enrollment Rules
  • Device Groups
  • Group Assignment Rules
  • Alert Template
  • Customize Toolbar
  • Enable Global Search

  1. Click Sign Up.

Your account will be verified and activated by the 42Gears Sales team.

  2. Click the link to navigate to the SureMDM login page.

SureMDM Home will appear on the screen.

note

If the user enters the wrong credentials 10 times repeatedly, then the account will be blocked for 30 minutes.

APNS Certificate

The Apple Push Notification Service (APNS) is a platform that allows third-party apps to send push notifications to iOS devices. To manage these devices, you need to get an APNs certificate. SureMDM uses this certificate to securely communicate with Apple devices and report device information back to the console. Therefore, it is important to set up this certificate before enrolling any iOS or macOS device to ensure smooth management through the SureMDM server. To know more about APNS Certificate, click here.
