Browser Window Options

Admins can configure browser window options such as screen orientation, toobar settings, category customization etc.

Following options are available in Browser Window Options:

  • Screen Orientation - Use this option to set the screen orientation. The following orientations are available:

    • Don't Care
    • Auto Rotation
    • Landscape
    • Portrait
    • Reverse Landscape
    • Reverse Portrait
    • Auto Landscape
    • Auto Portrait

  • Show Title Bar - Enable this option to access titlebar settings.

  • Show Load Progress - Select this option to set the location (None/Top/Center) to display the progress of the page loading in SureFox.

  • Block Tap On Center Progress - Enable this option to prevents users from interacting with the page during loading.

    note

    This option is available only when Center is selected in the Show Load Progress setting.

  • Show Navigation Url - Displays URL instead of the page title in the title bar.

  • Show Toast Message - Enable this option to display toast message while browsing.

  • Set Custom Access Denied Message - Use this option to enable a custom toast message instead of default Access Denied message.

  • Full Screen Mode - Use this option to enable full screen mode.

  • Disable Bottom Bar - Enable this option to disable the bottom bar.

  • Category Customization - This option allows you to customize the category view. The following options are available:

    • Category View - Select the preferred folder layout: Legacy, Window, or Immersive view.

    • Background Color - Set the background color for the category view. You can choose a color from the picker or enter a specific color code.

    • Show Category Name - Enable or disable this option to display or hide the category name in the category view.

    • Show Category Back Button - Enable this option to display the back button within the category view.

      note

      The Show Category Back Button option is available only in the Legacy category view.

  • Toolbar Settings - Use this option to customize the Toolbar Settings. Click here to know more.

  • Prevent Suspend - Enable this option to keep the device screen always On when SureFox is running. Click here to know more.

  • Power Saving Settings - Use this option to configure power saving settings. Click here to know more.

  • Battery Popup Notifications - This option show popup notification when the battery reaches certain level. Click here to know more.
