Execute Program (Windows Mobile)

The Execute Program job allows administrators to remotely initiate the execution of files on enrolled devices or groups. By using the Execute Program job, administrators can remotely facilitate tasks that require the launching of specific files across a range of devices. 

To create an Execute Program job and deploy it to the enrolled device(s) or group(s) remotely, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the SureMDM Web Console > Jobs > New Job > Windows Mobile > Execute Program.

  2. Configure the following Execute Program settings and click OK.

Job NameEnter a name for the job
Device PathEnter the location for the file to save
ParametersEnter the parameters.

The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section.

  1. Go back to the Home tab and select the Windows Mobile device(s) or group(s).

  2. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

  3. Select the job under All Jobs/Profiles.

  4. Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
