App Uninstall Job (Windows Server)

The App Uninstall job allows administrators to remotely uninstall applications from enrolled devices. This job allows you to manage the applications by providing a centralized method to remove unwanted or unnecessary apps. By using the App Uninstall job, administrators gain enhanced control over the software environment on enrolled devices.

Supported on Windows Server devices and SureMDM Agent version >= 6.29.0.

To remotely uninstall applications on the enrolled device(s) or groups, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Jobs > New Job > Windows Server > App Uninstall.
    You can see a list of applications that are available on the devices.
  2. Enter a Job Name.
  3. Select the application(s) that you want to uninstall .
  4. Click Configure Uninstall to select one of the following Uninstallation Arguments and click OK:
  • /verysilent
  • /silent
  • /qn
  • /i
  • /norestart
  • /forcerestart
  1. Click OK.
    The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section.
  2. Go back to the Home tab and select the Windows Server device(s) or group(s).
  3. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
  4. Select the job under All Jobs/Profiles.
  5. Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
