Jobs for Wear OS

 SureMDM offers a comprehensive suite of tools for managing Android Wear devices remotely. This includes tasks like file transfer, text messaging, running scripts, configuring agent settings, and more. Administrators can create composite jobs, set up location tracking, manage Wi-Fi settings, and implement telecom policies. Additionally, features for call log and SMS tracking, remote buzzing, and data wiping are available to ensure efficient device management and security.

Prerequisite

To deploy a few jobs, such as install/uninstall/update applications on Android Wear devices, ADB Debugging has to be enabled on the device.

To enable ADB Debugging on the device, follow these steps:

  1. Access the device’s Settings option.

  2. Select System > About > tap 7 times on the Build Number.

The Developer Option will be enabled and will be available on the main Settings page.

  1. Go to Developer Option, enable ADB Debugging and Debug Over WiFi.

Navigate to the SureMDM Web Console >  Jobs > New Job > Android Wear OS. The following jobs will be listed on the screen:

Composite Job

SureLock Settings

Notification Policy

Location Tracking

Wi-Fi Settings

Telecom Management Policy
