Safari Bookmarks

The Safari Bookmarks payload allows IT administrators to add, modify, or remove bookmarks and bookmark folders, which are automatically applied to devices without requiring user intervention using Declarative Device Management (DDM). Supported on iOS/iPadOS 26.0 onwards.

Note: This profile is available only for Device Enrollment.

Steps to Configure Safari Bookmarks payload

1. On the SureMDM Web Console, navigate to:
   Profiles > iOS/iPadOS > Add > Safari Bookmarks > Configure

2. Enter a Profile Name.

3. In the Configure Safari Bookmarks screen, click Add to add the folder for bookmarks with below information.

Setting	Description
Folder Name	Enter the name of the folder

Note: Only folders are allowed at the top level. Subfolders and URLs can be added within them.

4. Once the folder is added, it would get reflected in the table section.

5. Access the created folder and click Add.

Setting	Description
Bookmark Type	Specify the bookmark type to be added. URL Folder
Name	Enter the name of the bookmark. Applicable only if Bookmark Type is selected as URL.
URL	Specify the url of the webpage. Applicable only if Bookmark Type is selected as URL.
Folder Name	Enter the name of the folder. Applicable only if Bookmark Type is selected as Folder.

The added configuration will be reflected in the table section.

6. Click Save.
   The newly created profile will be listed in the Profiles section.

7. Go back to the Home tab and select the iOS / iPadOS device(s) or group(s).

8. Click Apply to launch Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

9. In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the created profile and click Apply.
