Configure Global Proxy Settings Profile

The Global Proxy Settings profile is responsible for configuring the proxy server settings.

Supported OS Version: iOS 6.0 and iPadOS 6.0 or later

To configure Global HTTP Proxy remotely on an enrolled device, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Profiles > iOS/iPadOS > New Profile > Global HTTP Proxy Settings > Configure.

2. Enter a Profile Name.

3. In the Global HTTP Proxy section, enter or select the following details:

Settings	Description
Proxy Type	Specify the proxy type. - Manual - Automatic
Proxy Server And Port	Specify the proxy server’s network address and port number.
Username	Specify the username which would be used to authenticate to the proxy server.
Password	Specify the password which would be used to authenticate to the proxy server.
Allow Bypassing Proxy To Access Captive Networks	If checked, allows the device to bypass the proxy server to display the login page for captive networks.

The newly created profile will be listed in the Profiles section.

4. Go back to the Home tab and select the iOS/iPadOS device(s) or group(s).

5. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

6. Select the profile under All Jobs/Profiles.

7. Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
