Global Configuration
Global Configuration in SureMDM Hub enables administrators to centrally create and share jobs, profiles, dashboards, and reports across multiple customer accounts.
Administrators can define these items once in the Global account and make them available to all customer accounts. The shared jobs and profiles automatically appear in customer accounts, where they can be applied to devices or groups, used as default configurations, or cloned and customized as required. Dashboards and Reports are also accessible across accounts for consistent monitoring and analysis.
This approach streamlines management, reduces duplication of effort, and ensures uniformity and consistency across all customer environments.
Creating Global Configurations
To create Global Jobs, Profiles, Dashboards, and Reports and share them across all customer accounts, follow the steps below:
Log in to the SureMDM Hub Console.
Navigate to Global Configurations under the Account Management section.
Enable the Global Account and click Login.
Once logged into the Global Account, navigate to the following sections to create configurations:
Jobs
- Navigate to Jobs > New Job > Select Platform > Select Job Type.
- Configure the required settings.
- Click Save.
Profiles
- Navigate to Profiles > New Profile > Select Platform > Select Profile Type.
- Configure the required settings.
- Click Save.
Jobs and Profiles that involve account-level configurations are not supported.
Dashboards
- Navigate to Dashboard > Create Dashboard.
- Configure widgets and click Save.
noteOnly Custom Data Analytics charts can be created.
Reports
- Navigate to Reports > New Report.
- Customize the report and click Save.
noteOnly custom reports can be created and modified.
Accessing Global Configurations
Global Jobs, Profiles, Dashboards, and Reports are available within customer accounts in the following sections:
1. Jobs
Global Jobs can be accessed from:
- Apply Job/Profile: Global Jobs are available for selection when applying a job to a device or group.
- Group Properties: Global Jobs are available under the Assigned Jobs/Profiles section and can be set as default jobs.
- Jobs: Navigate to Jobs > Global Job folder. Global Jobs can be cloned and modified as required for the customer account.
2. Profiles
Global Profiles can be accessed from:
- Apply Job/Profile: Global Profiles are available for selection when applying a profile to a device or group.
- Group Properties: Global Profiles are available under the Assigned Jobs/Profiles section and can be set as default profiles.
- Profiles: Navigate to Profiles > Global Profile folder. Global Profiles can be cloned and modified as required for the customer account.
3. Dashboards

- Dashboard: Navigate to Dashboard > Custom Dashboards to access Global Dashboards.
4. Reports
Global Reports are available in:
- Reports: Navigate to Reports to access Global Reports.
