Configure Wallpaper Settings from SureLock Preview

To configure wallpaper settings from SureaLock Preview, follow these steps:

  1. Login to SureMDM Console and navigate to Jobs > New Job > Android > SureLock Settings.
  2. In SureLock Settings, further, navigate to Allowed Applications > Visible Apps > Preview.
  3. Select a Home screen setting (None/Classic Home Screen Customization/Advanced Home Screen Customization).

  • None - This option does not allow configuring Home Screen settings.

    note

    If Enable Custom Layout in SureLock Settings > Custom Home Screen is unchecked, the Select Home Screen Setting dropdown in Preview will automatically set to None.

  • Classic Home Screen Customization - This option allows configuration of standard SureLock Home Screen customization settings. Configure the settings given below:

    • Layout Settings - Configure screen properties such as resolution, orientation, and the number of rows and columns.
    • Move App - Reposition applications on the SureLock Home Screen for better organization.
    • Wallpaper Settings - Customize the SureLock home screen wallpaper by selecting Multi-Wallpaper or an HTML file (via file upload or URL). Opt for sequential or random play to rotate wallpapers, ensuring variety across cycles. Control transition timing with options for changes upon unlock or at set intervals.
    • Set Background Color - Select a background color for the SureLock Home Screen.

    If Enable Custom Layout in SureLock Settings > Custom Home Screen is checked, the Select Home Screen Setting dropdown in Preview is automatically set to Classic Home Screen Customization.

  • Advanced Home Screen Customization - This option allow configuration of advanced Home Screen layouts using HTML-based customization.

    • Select HTML Type - Choose one of the following options:

      • File - Upload an HTML file and click Run.

      • URL - Enter the URL of a hosted HTML file and click Run.

      • Select or Create a New Template - Select an existing HTML template or click + to create a new one. Use the HTML Editor to edit or create custom templates.

    If Enable Advanced Home Screen Customization in SureLock Settings > Custom Home Screen is checked, the Select Home Screen Setting dropdown in Preview is automatically set to Advanced Home Screen Customization.
