Allowed Websites
Admin can approve a list of required websites that will be displayed on the SureLock Home Screen and the user will have access to only these websites.
To approve or whitelist a website in SureLock, follow these steps:
Access SureLock Settings.
On SureLock Settings screen, tap Allowed Websites.
On Add/Edit Allowed Websites screen, tap Add URL.
On Enter Website Details screen, enter the following details:
URL – Enter the website address to configure access within SureLock.
Display Name – Specify the name that will appear for the website shortcut on the SureLock Home Screen.
Allow Sub-domains – Enable to allow access to all sub-domains associated with the specified URL.
Allow Only This Page – Restrict access to only the exact page specified in the URL.
noteDisable the Allow Sub-domains option to enable Allow Only This Page.
Bypass Content Blocking – Allow the specified URL to bypass configured content filtering rules.
Hide URL – Hide the website shortcut icon from the SureLock Home Screen.
Error Redirection – Automatically redirect users to a specified URL if an error page is encountered.
HTTP Basic Authentication – Enter credentials (username and password) for a protected webpage to enable automatic login and bypass manual HTTP authentication.
Use Hosted Script URL - Enable this option to execute a script hosted on a specified URL instead of using a locally stored script.
noteEnable script injection option should be enabled.
Disable Auto Zoom On Input Field - Prevents the browser from automatically zooming in when a user selects or enters text into an input field.
Default Zoom Level - Select the preferred zoom percentage to control the default webpage display size.
Screen Orientation – Select the desired screen orientation: Don’t Care, Auto Rotation, Landscape, Portrait, Reverse Landscape, Reverse Portrait, Auto Landscape, or Auto Portrait.
Page Number – Specify the home screen page number where the website shortcut should appear for both Portrait and Landscape modes.
Website’s Position – Define the position of the website shortcut on the home screen grid for Portrait and Landscape orientations.
Icon - Select the desired icon for the website that will be displayed on SureLock Home Screen: Favicon, Default, or Custom.
- Tap Done to complete.
