App Usage

With this plugin, the administrator can allow the end user to monitor and manage app usage on the device, including viewing the top apps, total device active usage, and number of device unlocks. The plugin provides options to filter data by time periods and also supports password protection to restrict access. On the App Usage screen, admins can view the following metrics:

  • Total Device Active Usage – Total active usage time of the device.

  • Number of Unlocks – Number of times the device has been unlocked.

    Use the drop-down menu below these metrics to filter data for Today, Yesterday, Last 1 Week, or Last 1 Month.

To configure App Usage settings in App Usage plug-in app, follow these steps:

  1. On the SureLock Home Screen, launch App Usage.

  2. On the App Usage screen, tap Settings icon.

  3. Configure App Usage Settings:

  • Password Protect App - Enable this option to Secure the App Usage plugin so it can only be accessed with a password.
  • Set/Change Password - Allows administrators to set a new password or update an existing password for the plugin.
