Agent Settings (Windows)
On successful launch of the SureMDM Agent application on the device, the SureMDM Agent home screen will appear with Settings options.
To view/modify SureMDM Agent settings, follow these steps:
Launch the SureMDM Agent application on the device.
On the SureMDM Agent home screen, tap Settings.
Configure SureMDM Agent Settings:

Settings | - Account ID: The Account ID is the identification number for the SureMDM account. Displays the Account ID to which tenant the device is enrolled to. - Server Path: The SureMDM console URL to which devices are enrolled. -Group Path: Indicates the group or folder where the device is categorized within the console . Change Device Name -Allows you to assign a custom name to the device. You can choose to set the name manually or automatically based on parameters such as the MAC address, host name, BIOS name, or product serial number. The device name configured here will appear in the device grid of the SureMDM console. Unattended Remote Support -Settings: This option controls how remote support sessions are handled on the device. When set to Allow, sessions can be initiated without user approval. Choosing Deny blocks all remote access attempts. The Prompt option requires user approval before a session begins, while Allow Silently enables sessions to start without notifying the user. |

Devices | Displays a list of enrolled devices along with key details such as device name, operating system, and type. Administrators can view more information or update device details directly from this screen. |
App Store | The App Store section displays all applications assigned to the device by the administrator. If no apps have been assigned yet, a message will appear indicating that the app list is currently empty. Users can check back later or contact their administrator for further assistance. |
File Store | The File Store section provides access to files and folders that have been shared with the device by the administrator. It allows users to browse, view, and download documents or resources stored in the shared directory. |
Just-in-Time Admin | The Just-in-Time Admin section allows users to request temporary elevation of privileges from their IT administrator. This feature is used when an application, script, or action requires admin-level access for a limited time. If the feature is not enabled for the current account, a message will prompt the user to contact their administrator for access. |
Mailbox | The Mailbox section allows users to view and manage messages sent by the SureMDM administrator. It provides options to compose new messages, reply to received ones, and clean up the inbox. |
Troubleshoot | This provides key troubleshooting options, including: -Restart Service: Restarts the SureMDM Agent service. -Request Remote Support: Sends a request to the administrator to initiate a remote support session. -Unenroll: Allows users to choose to unenroll and delete the device from the SureMDM console and optionally uninstall the SureMDM Agent from the device. -Collect Logs: Enables saving logs locally and optionally uploading them to SureMDM FileStore. Import-Export Settings: Use this option to export the current SureMDM Agent settings to a File or the cloud. This option can also be used to import settings from the Cloud or a File for quick and easy configuration. |
