Conference Room Display Profile

The Conference Room Display feature for tvOS enables administrators to display a customized welcome message on supervised Apple TV devices. This is particularly useful in meeting rooms or shared environments where devices need to remain accessible and informative without exposing apps or settings.

Steps to Configure Conference Room Display Profile

  1. Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Profiles > tvOS > Add > Conference Room Display > Configure

  2. Enter a Profile Name.

  3. In the Conference Room Display configuration screen:

Enable Conference Room DisplayEnabling this option will make the Display Message field accessible.
Display MessageProvide the message that should be displayed on AppleTV.

This message will appear when the Apple TV is idle and replaces the standard home screen interface.

  1. Click Save.
    The newly created profile will be listed in the Profiles section.

  2. Go back to the Home tab and select the tvOS device(s) or group(s).

  3. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

  4. In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the created profile and click Apply.
