Configure Single App Mode Profile
The Single App Mode feature for tvOS enables administrators to lock a supervised Apple TV device into a single application, ensuring the device remains dedicated to a specific use-case, such as digital signage, meeting room display, or kiosk.
This functionality ensures that users cannot exit the assigned app, making the device purpose-specific and secure.
Steps to Configure Single App Mode Profile
Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Profiles > tvOS > Add > Single App Mode > Configure.
Enter a Profile Name.
In the Single App Mode configuration screen:

| Disable Auto Lock | Enable this option to prevent the device from locking automatically after an idle period. |
| Disable Device Rotation | Enable this option to prevent the device from auto-rotating. |
| Disable Ringer Switch | Enable this option to disable the ringer (side) switch. |
| Disable Sleep/Wake Button | Enable this option to disable the Sleep/Wake button so the device cannot be put to sleep or turned off. |
| Disable Volume Buttons | Enable this option to disable the device’s volume buttons. |
| Disable Touch | Enable this option to disable all touch input on the device. |
| Enable Assistive Touch | Enable this option to allow the system to use Assistive Touch. |
| Enable Invert Colors | Enable this option to allow the system to use Invert Colors. |
| Enable Mono Audio | Enable this option to play both left and right audio channels through a single channel. |
| Enable Speak Selection | Enable this option to allow the device to speak aloud the selected content on the screen. |
| Enable VoiceOver | Enable this option to allow the system to use VoiceOver. |
| Enable Zoom | Enable this option to allow the system to use Zoom. |
| Enable Voice Control | Enable this option to allow the system to use Voice Control. |

| Invert Colors | Enable this option to allow the user to toggle Invert Colors. |
| VoiceOver | Enable this option to allow the user to toggle VoiceOver. |

| Voice Control | Enable this option to allow the user to toggle Voice Control. |
Lockdown works only for the apps that are installed on the device.
Click Save.
The newly created profile will be listed in the Profiles section.
Go back to the Home tab and select the tvOS device(s) or group(s).
Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the created profile and click Apply.
