Device Actions
Device Actions includes essential device management actions such as Reboot and Wipe Device.
Steps to Create a Device Actions Job
To create a Device Actions job and deploy it to the enrolled device(s) or group(s) remotely, follow these steps:
Navigate to SureMDM Web Console > Jobs > New Job > tvOS > Device Actions.
In the Device Actions prompt, enter a Job Name and select the Action Type.
Action Types and Descriptions
| Action Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Reboot | Performs a reboot on the device. Note: Device Reboot is supported only on Supervised device(s) with tvOS version 10.2 and above. |
| Wipe Device | Erases the device, including locked ones, without warning the user. Device Wipe Action: Select the required wipe action: - Partial Wipe: Removes all managed apps, data, and profiles. Any apps installed through SureMDM will also be removed. |
The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section.
Go back to the Home tab and select the tvOS device(s) or group(s).
Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the job and click Apply.
