Bixolon Printer Jobs

The following are the jobs supported by the Bixolon printers:

Restart​

Restart job allows the admins to restart the Bixolon printer remotely.

To restart the printer, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the SureMDM Console.
  2. Select the Bixolon Printer and navigate to the Dynamic Job section.
  3. Select the Restart Job.
  4. Click Apply or Save As Job.
  • Apply - By clicking this option, the job will be applied to the selected device without saving it.
  • Save As Job - By clicking this option, the admin can save the job by adding a Job Name. The job will be saved under the Static Jobs section. Admins can apply this job to multiple devices.

Reset​

Reset job allows the admins to reset some of the Bixolon printer configurations remotely.

To reset the Bixolon printer, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the SureMDM Console.
  2. Select the Bixolon Printer and navigate to the Dynamic Job section.
  3. Select the Reset Job.
  4. Click Apply or Save As Job.
  • Apply - By clicking this option, the job will be applied to the selected device without saving it.
  • Save As Job - By clicking this option, the admin can save the job by adding a Job Name. The job will be saved under the Static Jobs section. Admins can apply this job to multiple devices.
