Device Enrollment
Device enrollment is an important step in setting up the SureMDM console, as it allows administrators to remotely manage devices from the SureMDM console. The Device Enrollment section in the SureMDM Console contains the following enrollments:
Create QR Code
QR Code enrollment will be available only for Android and iOS/iPad devices.
QR code enrollment is a quick and easy way to enroll devices in SureMDM. It involves scanning a QR code with the SureMDM Agent to automatically register the device with the SureMDM server. Here are the steps to enroll a device in SureMDM using a QR code:
On the SureMDM Web Console, navigate to Settings > Enrollment > QR Code Enrollment > List View > Create QR Code.
On the Setup QR Code for Enrollment prompt, under the Enrollment Type tab.
Enter the name of the QR code and select one of the following platforms:
Android
iOS/iPadOS
Things
Based on the platform you selected, select the Enrollment Type:
Android
Android Enterprise Enrollment (Recommended)
Fully Work Profile (Profile Owner)
Managed Device (Device Owner)
Fully Managed Device with a Work Profile (WPCO)
Device Admin Enrollment
iOS/iPadOS

- CamLock Sentry
The Things platform mentioned here is only for CamLock enrollment, not Things device enrollment.
Click Next.
Under Configure Options tab, enter or select the required details:
Select Group - Select or add the group to which the device will be enrolled.
Select Device Name - Select the device name parameter from the drop-down.
Expiry Date & Time - Add the expiry date and time.
Maximum Number Of Devices - Specify the maximum number of devices that are allowed to be enrolled using the QR code. Supported from SureMDM Agent v27.26.21 onwards
Use mobile data if available - Select this option to use mobile data instead of Wi-Fi.
Configure WiFi Network
Wi-Fi SSID - Enter the WiFi SSID
Wi-Fi Security Type - Select the WiFi security type
Wi-Fi Password - Enter the WiFi security password
Wifi Hidden - Select this option if your network is hidden
WiFi EAP Method - Select the Extensible Authentication Protocol method
WiFi Identity - Enter the identity of the WiFi network
WiFi Anonymous Identity - Enter the anonymous identity of the WiFi
WiFi Phase 2 Auth - Enter the phase 2 authentication of the WiFi network
WiFi Domain - Enter the domain of the authentication network
Configure Proxy Settings
WiFi Pac URL - Enter the URL that specifies the location of the PAC file.
WiFi Proxy Host - Enter the host for the WiFi network
WiFi Proxy Port - Enter the proxy port for the WiFi network
WiFi Proxy Bypass - Enter the proxy bypass for the WiFi network
Provisioning Settings
Skip Encryption - Select this option to skip the device-side encryption
Skip SureMDM Agent Permission checklists - Select this option to skip the SureMDM Agent permission checklist
Enable DeepThought - Select this option to enable the DeepThought
Locale - Select the language and country
Click Next to continue.
Under Save QR code, click Download / Print to download or print the QR code.
Click Save.
A newly created QR code will be listed under the QR Code Enrollment section.
Manual Enrollment
SureMDM offers a manual enrollment option that allows administrators to onboard devices into the SureMDM mobile device management system.
