Text Message

The Text Message Job helps the admin remotely send text messages or broadcast messages on an enrolled device(s).

To create a job to compose a message and deploy it to the enrolled device(s) or group(s) remotely, follow these steps:

  1. On the SureMDM Web Console, navigate to Jobs > New Job > AnyOS > Text Message.  

  2. Configure the Text Message settings and click OK.

Job Name Enter a name for the Job
SubjectEnter the subject for the message
Message
Enter the message with the following message type enabled:
Plain Text Message – Simple text without formatting.
Rich Text Message – Allows text formatting such as Font color, Font Size, and more.
Note: Rich Text Message feature works on Android SureMDM Agent v13.47 onwards.
Get Read Notification Select this option to get confirmation of the message read by the end user. Admins will receive the confirmation email in the Inbox section.
Force Read Message Select this option to force the device's users to read the message. A message prompt will appear on the device user's screen.
Enable BuzzAdmins can make an alert sound to force the end user to read the message. Admins can set the duration of the alert sound. 
Note:
1. This feature will be enabled only when the admin selects the Force Read Message option. 
2.  This feature works only on SureMDM Agent versions 13.29 and above.
Close Message PopupSelect this option to display the message prompt for the specified duration.

The newly created job will be listed in the Jobs List section. 

  1. Go back to the Home tab and select the device or group(s).

  2. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

  3. In the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt, select the job(s) and click Apply.
