Dynamic Jobs for macOS
Dynamic Jobs, enabling Administrators to create job assignments that adapt to the unique capabilities of each device. By tailoring tasks or actions to specific devices, the organization can maximize efficiency and achieve better results. For macOS devices, the following dynamic jobs are available:
Refresh - Refresh the devices in the Device Grid. This option will sync the device’s latest information with the SureMDM console.
Remote - This option allows you to remotely connect to an enrolled device.
Reboot Devices - This option allows you to reboot your device.
Apps - Displays all system and installed applications on a device. SureMDM collects all the information about the installed applications (app name, username, version, package name, app size, etc.). Admins can remotely uninstall the application(s) of a device.
Lock Device - This option allows you to remotely lock the device.
Shut Down - This option allows you to shut down your device remotely.
OS Updates - This option allows you to update your macOS devices remotely.
Recovery Key: View the BitLocker / FileVault private recovery key of a macOS device.
Profile Removal: It allows admins to remove installed profiles (device and user) and custom payloads, both managed and unmanaged, from specific devices.
Update SureMDM Agent : This option allows you to update the SureMDM Agent on macOS devices to the latest version.
User Accounts - This option allows you to manage user account settings.
- Modify Permissions - Modify the permissions of an existing user from Admin to Standard or from Standard to Admin.
- Change Password - Change the password for the selected user account in the device.
- Unlock User - Unlock a locked user account on the selected device.
- Refresh - Use this option to immediately synchronize and refresh the user accounts on the selected device.
- Manage Secure Token - Use this option to manage the secure token of the user account(s) available in the selected device.
- If Service Accout is available in the device, then admin should provide only selected user account's password to modify the secure token status.
- If Service Accout is not available in the device, then admin must provide selected user account's password along with admin account's username and password to modify the secure token status.note
This job would be supported only on macOS Agent 6.8.0 and above.

Wipe Device: Erases data from the selected macOS device.
- Partial Wipe: Deletes all managed apps, data, and profiles, including any apps installed through SureMDM.
- Full Wipe: Completely erases the device, including the OS. All personal files, photos, music, movies, managed apps, data, and profiles will be permanently erased.
- Erase All Content & Settings: Erases all content and resets settings configuration on the device without wiping the OS.
Bluetooth: Use this option to enable / disable the bluetooth on devices.
Remote Desktop: Use this option to enable / disable remote desktop on devices.
SureAccess Control: This option allows you to Allow/Block SureAccess and view other SureAccess parameters like Last Connection time, Data Received and Sent over SureAccess on the selected device.
