iOS Device Enrollment​

To enroll an iOS device to AstroFarm:

To enroll an iOS device in AstroFarm, it must first establish a connection with a macOS contributor machine. This machine acts as the host, enabling communication between the device and the AstroFarm platform. Before proceeding, please refer to the Contributor Setup guide to understand the prerequisites for iOS device enrollment. Once the setup is complete, follow the steps below.

  1. Connect the iOS device to the Mac contributor machine using a USB cable.

  2. Launch the AstroFarm Agent and enter details as mentioned in the "AstroFarm setup on Contributor machines" section.

  3. Select Enroll iOS Devices and click Apply & Restart.

Before plugging in the iOS device, please disable the following settings on the device

  • Disable Passcode: Settings → Face ID & Passcode → Turn Passcode Off
  • Disable screen timeout: Settings → Display & Brightness → Auto-Lock :::
  1. Plug in the device to the host machine to auto-enroll it to AstroFarm.

AstroFarm allows you to enroll both iOS and Android devices simultaneously to the same contributor machine.
