Periodic App Launch Profile

The Periodic App Launch profile allows administrators to remotely initiate the opening of an application on enrolled devices, following a predefined time interval. By using the Periodic App Launch profile, administrators gain the flexibility to automate application usage according to their requirements. 

To create a profile to launch the application periodically, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the SureMDM Web Console > Profiles > Windows > Add > Periodic App Launch > Configure.

  2. Enter a Profile Name.

  3. Configure the following Periodic App Launch settings and click Save.

ApplicationSelect an application from the drop-down menu.
Periodicity (In Mins)Enter or select the time (in minutes) to launch the application at a specified interval of time.

The newly created profile will be listed in the Profiles section.

  1. Go back to the Home tab and select the Windows device(s) or group(s).

  2. Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.

  3. Select the profile under All Jobs/Profiles.

  4. Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
