Discovered Updates
The Discovered Updates section provides a wide range of Microsoft Updates as a repository. It consists of two main components:
SureMDM Scanned Updates
A centralized repository of SureMDM scanned updates from existing fleet of your organization's devices.
This feature is supported on Windows devices with SureMDM Agent version >= 6.08.0
Table List Details
Following are the patches identified by the device as available but have not yet been installed:
- Details: Provide additional details about the update.
- KB Number: Unique identifier for each update.
- Classification: Categorizes updates as Quality Updates, Feature Updates, or Security Updates.
- Published Date: Represents the date when the update was published.
- Missing Devices: Displays the count of devices where the update is eligible but not installed.
- Restart Behaviour: Provides information if a specific patch requires reboot post installation.
Users can click on the Missing Devices hyperlink to view a list of devices missing the update. From the Missing Devices popup, users can select specific devices and click Deploy to install the update only to those devices. Alternatively, the Deploy button in the main table deploys the update to all applicable devices.
Microsoft Catalog Updates
A centralized repository of Microsoft Catalog updates prefetched with latest Microsoft Security Updates for Windows 10 and Windows 11 editions.

- Details: Provide additional details about the update.
- KB Number: Unique identifier for each update.
- Classification: Categorizes updates as Quality Updates, Feature Updates, or Security Updates.
- Published Date: Represents the date when the update was published.
- Restart Behaviour: Provides information if a specific patch requires reboot post installation.
The following are the other options available on the Discovered Updates page:
- Deploy: Allows users to deploy/install selected patches to a group of devices.
- Export: Exports the table data to be saved locally in CSV format.
- Search Box: Allows users to search for specific information.
- Refresh Icon: Updates the table with real-time data.
