Configure SureMDM settings in the Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) console

To configure Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) and SureMDM, follow these steps:

1. Login to the Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) portal.

2. Click Azure Active Directory > Mobility (MDM and WIP)

3. Click on Microsoft Intune and configure the following:

• Set MDM User scope to None (This ensures all Autopilot devices will be managed via SureMDM.)
• Set Windows Information Protection (WIP) user scope to None

4. Click Add application > search for SureMDM by 42Gears > Review Permissions and Create (If you are unable to add, check your Azure Account RBAC settings.)

5. Select the newly created application and enter the following details:

• Set MDM User scope to All.
• Set MDM terms of use URL to https://42gearsmobility.suremdm.io/TermsOfUse.aspx
• Set MDM discovery URL to https://42gearsmobility.suremdm.io/enrollmentserver/discovery.svc?cid={CustomerID}&tid={TenantID}

Replace the Customer ID in the above MDM Discovery URL with your SureMDM AccountID and TenantID with your organization’s Entra TenantID.
