SATO Printer Jobs
The following are the jobs supported by the SATO Printers:
Restart
Restart job allows the admins to restart the Sato printer remotely.
To restart the printer, follow these steps:
Log in to the SureMDM Console.
Select the Sato Printer and navigate to the Dynamic Job section.
Select the Restart Job.
Click Apply or Save As Job.
Apply - By clicking this option, the job will be applied to the selected device without saving it.
Save As Job - By clicking this option, the admin can save the job by adding a Job Name. The job will be saved under the Static Jobs section. Admins can apply this job to multiple devices.
Reset
Reset job allows the admins to reset the Sato printer to its initial configuration remotely. Once done, users will have to re-enrol their printer to the console.
To reset the printer, follow these steps:
Log in to the SureMDM Console.
Select the Sato Printer and navigate to the Dynamic Job section.
Select the Reset Job.
Click Apply or Save As Job.
Apply - By clicking this option, the job will be applied to the selected device without saving it.
Save As Job - By clicking this option, the admin can save the job by adding a Job Name. The job will be saved under the Static Jobs section. Admins can apply this job to multiple devices.
Shutdown
Shutdown job allows the admins to shutdown the Sato printer remotely.
To shut down the printer, follow these steps:
Log in to the SureMDM Console.
Select the Sato Printer and navigate to the Dynamic Job section.
Select the Shutdown Job.
Click Apply or Save As Job.
Apply - By clicking this option, the job will be applied to the selected device without saving it.
Save As Job - By clicking this option, the admin can save the job by adding a Job Name. The job will be saved under the Static Jobs section. Admins can apply this job to multiple devices.
