SureAccess Configuration
The SureAccess Configuration payload for Linux devices allows administrators to configure secure, encrypted access to corporate networks. Using SureAccess, IT admins can define network routing rules, block specific domains, apply category-based web filtering, and enforce always-on connectivity.
Supported only on Linux devices running SureMDM Agent version 7.20.1 or later.
Configure SureAccess Profile
To configure a SureAccess Policy, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Profiles > Linux Profile.
- Create a new profile or edit an existing profile.
- Select SureAccess Configuration from the payload list.
- Click Configure.
- Enter a Profile Name.
- Configure the required SureAccess settings and click Save.

| Connection Name | Name of the connection to be displayed on the device. |
| Always On | Select to maintain a continuous, persistent SureAccess connection that automatically reconnects. |
| Network Access Rules | |
| Tunnelled CIDR List | Specify the Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) ranges allowed to access the VPN. |
| Tunnelled FQDN List | List the Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDNs) allowed to access the VPN. |
| Blocked FQDN List | Select from the pre-configured FQDNs to explicitly deny access through the secure tunnel. |
| Web Filtering | |
| Enable Web Filtering | Check this option to block user access to websites based on selected content categories. |
| Blocked Category List | Choose the categories of websites (e.g., Social Media, Gaming) that will be blocked when Enable Web Filtering is active. |
| Enable Authentication | Check this option to enforce user authentication during the initial SureAccess setup process on the device. Uncheck to bypass authentication. |
Blocked FQDN List and Web Filtering is enforced only when SureAccess is connected. For flawless and uninterrupted operation, it is recommended to enable Always On.
The newly created profile will be listed in the Profiles section.
Go back to the Home tab and select the Linux device(s) or group(s).
Click Apply to launch the Apply Job/Profile To Device prompt.
Select the profile under All Jobs/Profiles.
Click Apply in the Apply/Profile To Device prompt.
