License Management
The License Management section provides administrators with a centralized view of license usage, storage consumption, product activation details, and notification configurations. It helps administrators efficiently monitor resource utilization, manage storage allocation, and receive timely alerts when license or storage usage reaches the configured threshold limits.
Steps to Access License Management
- Log in to SureMDM Console.
- Navigate to Settings > License Management.
The following sections and options are available under License Management:
License Overview
The License Overview section displays the list of available license types along with the number of licenses used out of the total licenses purchased. It also displays the notification status, indicating whether notifications are enabled or disabled for the license type.

License Info
The License Info section provides detailed information about each license, including License ID, License Type, Total Licenses, Activation Date, Expiry Date, License Status etc. This section helps administrators monitor license validity and expiration details, enabling them to effectively manage renewals and ensure uninterrupted access to SureMDM services.

Storage Details
The Storage Details section displays a visual chart representing the total allocated storage and the amount of storage currently utilized. It also shows the distribution of storage usage across the account.

Product Activation Codes
The Product Activation Codes section displays the list of products along with their corresponding activation codes. These activation codes are required to enable and activate the respective products, ensuring seamless deployment and usage.

The Notification option displays the Consumption Notification Prompt, where administrators can configure license consumption and storage consumption notifications.

License Consumption Notification
The License Consumption Notification section allows administrators to configure license usage thresholds and receive notifications when the consumption limit is reached for the selected license types.
The following configuration option is available:
- Notify when Device License Consumption reaches above: A slider is provided to set the license consumption threshold percentage. The default value is set to 90% and can be modified as required.
Notifications will be triggered when the license consumption exceeds the configured threshold percentage.
Storage Consumption Notification
The Storage Consumption Notification section allows administrators to set a storage consumption limit for receiving notifications based on storage usage.
The following configuration option is available:
- Notify when Storage Consumption reaches above: A slider is available to configure the storage consumption threshold percentage. The default value is set to 90% and can be modified as required.
Notifications are triggered when storage consumption exceeds the configured threshold percentage.
Email Notification Configuration
Administrators can configure up to five email addresses to receive license and storage consumption notifications. Multiple email addresses must be separated by commas. Notification emails will be sent once every seven days to all configured email addresses when the configured license or storage consumption threshold is reached.
Export
The Export option is available in each section of License Management. Administrators can export details from the following sections:
- License Overview
- License Info
- Product Activation Codes
This feature allows users to download and maintain records for reporting purposes.
